New Year

Since it is the new school year I am now no longer in Mr Crowhurst's class instead I am in Mr de Beer's class. I am enjoying being a year 8 but I miss my old class a lot. Thank You Room 28 and Mr C for making 2010 an awesome year for me. I'll try and put up some work from my class this year up soon.

Rhyming Verse Poem

Rhyming Verse:

New Zealand,Aoteroa,

There used to be a bird called the moa.

L&P, kiwifruit and the buzzy bee,

Also famous for the Pohutakawa, a tree.

Green meadows and the light blue sky,

The people here are not at all shy,

They are friendly and caring too,

They will look after and help you.

Bring your family, bring your friends,

Some of the parties never end.

Even when you're running late,

Don't forget to say kia ora mate

A land of total paradice,

Where all the scenery is really nice.

North, South wherever you may be,

New Zealand is a great place to see

Haiku Poems

Spring
Bright flowers flourish,
The sun shines on the green grass
So fun in the sun

Pools
Swimming in the pool,
Lots of kids coming around
Freezing, nearly drowned!

E-learning at Somerville

My first activity was Google Docs. We had to choose a partner, so I chose Sophie. It was about our favourite sport, so Sophie did netball. But just when I was about to write something, we had to go! So I went over to the hall, and we gotsome instructions. I added some comments, and now here I am!
