Hair Colours

Yes right now you are probably thinking what on earth but honestly it is something going on in todays society and it is affecting many people.Think of offending people about their hair colour as hairisim. I mean blondes get given a hard time when actually most blondes are very intelligent, like take my friend Ally for example she is in fact very intelligent and actually got into the year seven speech finals also only blondes from my syndicate went through to the prepared speeches for the year seven finals. Lots of people probably don’t know what colour my hair actually is well neither do I to be honest. My parents call it Strawberry Blonde along with the rest of my family. Whether people at school call it the new ginger-Ginga. It’s only this year that my hair colour has been brought up, I guess it all started with the radio station holding the hug a ginga day. The way I see it a radio station ran a hug a ginga day, no big deal. People then got angry at them because of the unfairness to gingas (I mean its only hugs) there was even an argument on NZ television. My opinion is hug a ginga day was fine all that really happens is people give you hugs, which is actually kind of cool, sort of like free hugs for the whole day. It may not of been like this for other people I guess, but for me I really didn’t mind. I guess it does get annoying when people say Ginga Ninga or Strawberry Shortcake behind your back, then they say I wasn’t talking to you but you know they were as you are the only Ginga in the class. Don’t get me wrong other hair colours get hairisim but brunettes or people with black hair don’t really. So back to the question, am I a ginga or strawberry blonde??
